BBP Card Swap

Did you know Bazzill Basics Paper has a Fun New Card Swap?

Bazzill wants everyone to discover the love of card making - to enjoy making something and giving it away. So Bazzill created Card Swap, a fun activity that invites card makers to register to join (it’s FREE), create 10 of the same card, send them into Bazzill and get your own card and nine others back from people all over the United States. The swaps always have a theme and a specific paper to include, but the variety of cards that arrive are unbelievable. People that participate continue joining each swap and new people join in every time. To encourage participation, they have created this kit (offer ends 9/1/12).

A request from all of you

Scrapbook page - Karen Pierce's wedding -
I used the Spellbinders Die Parisian Accents lace die I cut it out 18 times, layered it on the left side of the page & then the right side.  I used Fancy Tags two for the accents, ribbon & all the glitter is Sparkle N Sprinkle.
I have 3 cards that I need to pick one for a contest I have coming up.  This is a digital image from Sparkle N Sprinkle Lily of the Fairy Enchantment.

Please pick which one card is your favorite.  I really appreciate your feedback.
Purple paper, purple ribbon.  Spellbinders  Standard Circle, Nested Butterflies Two, Cuddlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.  This one I colored using Prisma Pencils.  All the glitter is from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

The Perfect Bride -  I used foam dots to layer the girl, the her bouquet & head piece.  The dies are Spellbinders Nested Butterflies Two & Fancy Tags Two.  All the glitter is Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Autumn - Spellbinders Dies  Fancy Tags Two, All Glitter is Sparkle N Sprinkle.  This one I used Alcohol Markers to color her.  I used Cuddlebug Swiss Dots embossing & ??? Window which is 5x7 embossing folder.

Challenges

Recently Paper Crafter's Corner had a week long postings on "Challenges".  I've been addicted to challenges lately because the stretch my imagination & make me be creative.  Sometimes when I have a "workshop" that has everything figured out for me I loose my ambition to explore different ways of doing things.  Then again when it's all laid out on those days when I just need to get something accomplished it completes the task quickly.
Please check out this article and hopefully it will explain "Challenges" for you and inspire your creativity.  http://papercrafterscorner.com/blog/13-reasons-to-participate-in-paper-crafting-challenges/

Sparkle N Sprinkle's August Challenge is this sketch & here are the two cards I came up with.  The Hedghog is for my Great Niece Hannah's Birthday.  I hope she likes it.

My third challenge this week was from an e-mail from my friend Joyce Alenski's asking if I had tried to color the inside of my embossing folder with ink & then emboss it....the answer was no, so I gave it a try.  I hope she likes the outcome!
