Organized ----NOT

As most of you know I am a full time claims adjuster with a 23 mile one way commute.  Most days 45 min each way.  I have found a great carpool partner love Sheila to death, so the commute stress is now minimal.  So I try to be crafty with my friends on Sat, finish up projects on Sun & update all the social media sites that there are Facebook, my Blog, & now Pinterest.  Well I took yesterday off & went to the race track with my husband.  Not surprising to most of you since you know he loves motorcycles, but we actually went to Turf Paradise & saw some horse racing.  It was a beautiful day for it so this post is late...

That being said I need you to Save the Date:
March 10, 2012 my friend Claudia Cullen & I will be at the Craft Retreat Yard sale selling our cards, scrapbook pages & misc items. I cant be there as a CTMH consultant (someone else beat me to the sign up) but not to worry, if you want to get an old catalog or sign up for a party, card making or scapbooking date, just stop by I'll have my calendar available. Please pass the word.

Here is one of the few cards I'll be selling along with some cut outs, scrapbook pages for you to add your photos to, alphabet stickers, letter punch outs and some completed projects (albums) that need a home.  If nothing else, drop by & say hello.

2012

Now that all the holiday's are over it's time for our New Year's resolutions, getting in shape, eatting better and making all the changes we do at the beginning of the year. I have been pretty good about keeping my papercrafting resolutions. I had made a pack with myself to use all my cards & all my "products" before I made new ones. I did so by donating cards to Packages from Home. That was a good feeling. I still have tons of photos that I need to get into books, so for 2012 I am not going to print any new photos I am going to put all my printed photos onto paper. I have gotten off to a good start I have completed 8 pages. I got 6 new cards made yesterday & I plan to work on getting 8 more pages done tomorrow on MLK Day.

Close to My Heart is coming out with a new catalog in Feb. I am not thrilled about the papers! There are 4 of 8 that I will use. We will start scrapbooking Florentine, followed by Victory, Cruisin and and Footloose. We might get to Stella, Pemberly, Lucy. I will not be using the Superhero paper unless someone commissions me to do some pages for them.

Please check out the new papers shown in the blog weigh in on your opinions and let me know if you are interested in having a scrabook or card making night.

I hope all your 2012 Resolutions and plans come together for you & you have a very creative 2012.

Thanksgiving

It's here...the holiday's will be in full force in just a few days. Yesterday I worked on my pillow boxes/place cards for Thanksgiving dinner. Here's a tip, once you "puff" the box it is hard to get the cardstock to bend & stick to the "pillow" You want to keep your designs on the pillow "round or oval". It's a lesson I learned so I thought I would save you the frustration. All designs were cut on the Cricut with the Art Philosphy Cartridge & the stamps are Harvest Home C01419.

I want to take this time to THANK you for following my blog, stamping or scrapbooking with me or simply being my friend & supporting my crafting efforts. I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with love and good wishes.
Always, Lee Ann

Nanny's Album

I finally completed Nanny's Album. I will be giving it to her for Thanksgiving. It is very stressful making an album to give to someone else I hope she likes it.
