Purple wall hanging

Card - made out of CTMH paper, Spellbinder dies, Cuddlebug embossing folder & CTMH Art Philosphy Cricut Cartridge for the butterfly.

Cricut Art Philosphy Butterfly

This butterfly was a die
I borrowed from a friend & I forgot to ask the manufacture.  Rhinestones are from Recollections.

We had our Saturday Stamping get together.  Usually it's a really good day for me.  Yesterday was the exception to the rule, but I guess those kind of days are to be expected.  I finally got two projects completed today.  First is a wall hanging I wanted to make for a co-worker.  I hope she likes it.  Purple is her favorite color too.

Creative Sunday

Today was our monthy CTMH Scrapbook workshop. We worked on pages with Cruising Paper. I choose a simple lay out to utilize as much paper as possible & make as many pages as possible. I have several photos from the AZ Centennial Motorcycle ride to put on pages. I made 8 pages and the turned out great. Now I need to get the photos printed & added to the pages with embellishments.
I went from scrabooking to box making.  This idea came from the Spellbinders Blog.

And then I moved on to mini-album making. This is for my Great Nephew Alexander Marshall Olson.  I also got 6 cards done & it's 7 pm time to put dinner on the table as well.  I hope you all had a creative weekend too.

Wow it's only Saturday, I have had a very busy weekend.  Went to a Spring Training game yesterday it was beautiful day, then today I was at the Craft Retreat Side walk sale and met lots of neat people.  Bad news, my sunscreen ran out & I am toasted.  I hope it turns to color and doesnt peel.  Always happens, I have to get burnt at the beginning of Spring so I can get thru the rest of the year.

Organized ----NOT

As most of you know I am a full time claims adjuster with a 23 mile one way commute.  Most days 45 min each way.  I have found a great carpool partner love Sheila to death, so the commute stress is now minimal.  So I try to be crafty with my friends on Sat, finish up projects on Sun & update all the social media sites that there are Facebook, my Blog, & now Pinterest.  Well I took yesterday off & went to the race track with my husband.  Not surprising to most of you since you know he loves motorcycles, but we actually went to Turf Paradise & saw some horse racing.  It was a beautiful day for it so this post is late...

That being said I need you to Save the Date:
March 10, 2012 my friend Claudia Cullen & I will be at the Craft Retreat Yard sale selling our cards, scrapbook pages & misc items. I cant be there as a CTMH consultant (someone else beat me to the sign up) but not to worry, if you want to get an old catalog or sign up for a party, card making or scapbooking date, just stop by I'll have my calendar available. Please pass the word.

Here is one of the few cards I'll be selling along with some cut outs, scrapbook pages for you to add your photos to, alphabet stickers, letter punch outs and some completed projects (albums) that need a home.  If nothing else, drop by & say hello.
